How to add Google analytics to Salesforce community

  1. Sign up for google analytics (https://analytics.google.com/)

  2. Get the Tracking number to add to the community


Copy the Measurement ID:



  1. Go to Setup | All Sites | Builder | Settings | Advanced | Google Analytics

  2. Paste the number and publish the site



Test if it is working:

  1. Login to the portal from different locations

  2. See the results under reports
